Running Talley 2011
As of yesterday I've beat my running mileage from pregnancy #2. I have run 178.82 miles this pregnancy and I have just over 8 weeks to go. This is a mile over my mileage from pregnancy #2.
My yearly mileage is up to 130.89.
So far I feel allright. I'm very slow running and I don't know how long I can keep it up. I may have to drop my runs to 2 miles and under but I'll keep going as long as I can.
wow! great job! I just started running...yesterday...not kidding! I'm taking it slow as I am 8 weeks postpartum with DS2 and I'm hypoglycemic, but I can do it, I have the strength I've just got to get the whole breathing thing down. I'm running with my mother who lives next door and has been running for about 5 years now. I've been planning on running since I was about 4 months pregnant with this baby, but as I hadn't run before they said to wait until after my 6 week postpartum check up. I thought I would have to wait even longer then 8 weeks because recovery with my oldest was rough and I didn't feel normal for 3 1/2 months, but recovery this time around has been easy, I felt normal before 6 week postpartum but mom couldn't run with me until yesterday. It is hard but I really think I could learn to enjoy it.
